AS7806 — ASN7806

AS7806 announces 9 IPv4 prefixes covering 7,936 addresses and 1 IPv6 prefixes.

About this network

ASN7806 belongs to Binary Net, LLC, a business internet and data-centre provider based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

What it's used for

• Dedicated internet access, colocation and hosting for businesses in Lincoln, Omaha and the surrounding region.
• Its routing infrastructure resolves under binary.net with site-coded interface names for its Lincoln and Omaha points of presence; customer prefixes resolve to the customers' own domains.

Notable

• The inventory is a contiguous 216.229.0.0/19 plus a stray /24 — one clean block numbered by a single operator, not a scatter of acquired space.
• There are no consumer subscriber pools in reverse DNS: this is a B2B provider, so addresses here are offices and servers rather than households.

Interesting

• Registered with ARIN in January 1997, back when a city-scale ISP could still get an AS number of its own. Binary Net is one of the smaller holders in this range still operating under its original name.
