About this network

PERFTECH-SLOVENIA-AS is Perftech d.o.o., a Ljubljana-based IT services, systems integration and data-centre company.

What it's used for

• Data-centre and hosting services: colocation, virtual servers, hosted mail and filtering, DNS and related managed infrastructure for business customers.
• Reverse DNS across the announced space resolves under perftech.si, mostly in a dcs-<address>.perftech.si form, which reads as data-centre server addressing rather than subscriber pools.

Notable

• The company's own history describes it as an early builder of internet networks in Slovenia that later sold ADSL and wireless access, which would explain how a mid-sized IT firm came to hold a low-numbered ASN and a /19 of legacy address space.
• Whatever its ISP past, the current use of the space is hosting and enterprise services rather than consumer access: Perftech runs a certified data centre in Ljubljana and lists banks and payment organisations among its customers.
