About this network

A Latvian network (HOMETVPRO-AS) operated by SIA "HomeTV Pro" of Riga, announcing two /24s (512 addresses).

What it's used for

• Video content delivery. PeeringDB describes it as a video CDN network built for heavy outbound traffic, with a selective peering policy geared to uploading content to its customers.

Notable

• No PTRs on the addresses sampled; the network is small in address terms but reports 10-20 Gbps of mostly outbound traffic, typical of a streaming/CDN edge.
• Registered in BGP since 2015, so the low AS number here reflects reissue rather than an early-internet allocation.
