About this network

Santekhkomplekt (SANTEKHKOMPLEKT) — a Russian wholesaler of plumbing, heating and sanitary-engineering equipment, trading as santech.ru. One /24 and one IPv6 /48; 256 addresses in total.

What it's used for

• Corporate IT for a distribution business. The only reverse DNS on the block names the company's own IT infrastructure under santech.ru — no customer space, no hosting, no subscriber pools.
• Three BGP neighbours for a single /24: the AS exists so the company's e-commerce and ordering systems stay reachable if an upstream fails.

Notable

• Nothing about this is a telecom network, despite the AS number. It is one of the many mid-1990s-to-2000s enterprise registrations where a non-technology company took a /24 and an AS number to multi-home, and has quietly kept them since.
• The name transliterates a Russian compound meaning roughly "plumbing supplies" — worth stating plainly, because at a glance a Russian AS holder with a -KOMPLEKT suffix reads as though it might be an industrial or telecom concern.
