AS8547 — AS8547 - Styria IT Solutions GmbH & Co KG

AS8547 announces 1 IPv4 prefixes covering 8,192 addresses and 1 IPv6 prefixes.

About this network

AS8547 is held by Styria IT Solutions GmbH & Co KG in Graz, the in-house IT arm of Styria Media Group — the Austrian publisher behind Kleine Zeitung, Die Presse, willhaben.at and the Antenne radio stations, with operations in Austria, Croatia and Slovenia.

What it's used for

Corporate IT for a media group, not a service provider network. Styria IT Solutions supplies the group with infrastructure services, service desk, web hosting, IT security and procurement, and this AS is the connectivity underneath that.

The routing footprint matches: a single 195.12.192.0/19 (about 8,192 addresses) plus two IPv6 prefixes, and only two observed BGP neighbours — a dual-homed enterprise. The one PTR returned inside the announced space, srvkkl-dns01.styria.com, is a named internal server in the company's own domain. There are no subscriber pools, no dynamic or PPPoE naming, and no third-party rDNS on the addresses sampled.

Notable

• Media groups with their own AS are usually publishing and advertising platforms rather than access networks, and this is a clean example: one contiguous legacy /19 carrying styria.com hosts.
• The & Co KG in the name is an Austrian limited-partnership form, not part of any network branding.
