About this network

A single-prefix Autonomous System operated by AT&T Global Network Services Nederland B.V., the European arm of AT&T's managed-network business (the former IBM Global Network). The registry describes it simply as AT&T VAS EMEA with an internal reference code, and the ATT-CH-0C handle points at a Swiss site.

What it's used for

• Announcing one /24 out of AT&T Global Network Services' own European allocation, on behalf of a managed enterprise customer or service platform.
• Its whole routing policy is a single upstream: it imports from and exports to AS2686 (AT&T's EMEA network) and nothing else. There are no peers and no downstream networks.

Notable

• Managed-service space, not consumer or hosting. AT&T Global Network Services numbers enterprise customer sites and value-added-service platforms out of its own blocks and announces them from small dedicated ASNs like this one; the addresses sit behind corporate connectivity, not a public service.
• No reverse DNS is published on the /24, which is typical for a managed enterprise range.
• The registry gives an internal designator rather than a customer name, so no further identification is honest here. Do not infer AT&T's US consumer or mobile business from the brand: this is the enterprise networking arm.
