About this network

MACROVIEW-HK-AS-AP belongs to Macroview Telecom Limited, a Hong Kong digital-technology and IT-infrastructure solutions provider, and a member of the HGC Global Communications group since HGC acquired it in 2019.

What it's used for

• Macroview designs, builds and manages corporate networking, cybersecurity and multi-cloud systems for enterprise customers across Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China. This AS carries that managed-services business, not consumer broadband.
• It announces about 3,000 addresses out of 202.182.244.0/22 and neighbouring ranges, and takes transit from a single upstream: HGC (AS9304), its parent. The abuse contacts likewise point at HGC.

Notable

• Recently transferred. The APNIC registration for this AS was rewritten in February 2026; before that the number was held by a different Hong Kong company (Cloud Network Services HK). Older lookups and cached databases will still show the previous holder — the current one is Macroview.
• A systems integrator holding its own AS is a little unusual. The single-upstream shape says this is an enterprise network living inside its parent carrier's routing, rather than an independently multihomed service provider.

Interesting

• Macroview was founded in Hong Kong in 1991, well before it held this number. The AS number's low value tells you about the number's history, not the company's.
