About this network

SAUDI-BRITISH-BANK is operated by Saudi Awwal Bank JSC.

What it's used for

• The address space carries corporate banking infrastructure, evidenced by netnames SHB and AWALNET-CU1007 registered to Saudi Awwal Bank JSC.
• The AS announces 1280 IPv4 addresses across 3 prefixes with only 1 observed neighbour, indicating a small, self-contained internal network rather than a transit or access provider.
• Traffic from this AS consists of internal corporate systems, branch backhaul, and office worker endpoints for the bank's operations in Saudi Arabia.

Notable

• Registrants are mixed: SHB and AWALNET-CU1007 belong to Saudi Awwal Bank JSC, while SA-ETTIHADETISALAT-990922 belongs to Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), suggesting a leased or historically allocated block.
• Saudi Awwal Bank was formed in 2019 through the merger of Saudi British Bank and Alawwal Bank (formerly Saudi Hollandi Bank), rebranding the combined entity as the Kingdom’s third-largest bank by assets at the time.
• The inventory consists of three distinct IPv4 prefixes with no IPv6 announcements, reflecting a legacy IPv4-only corporate estate.
