About this network

YAHOO-CORP-SG-AS-AP is operated by Yahoo.

What it's used for

• The address space carries corporate infrastructure, evidenced by netnames YAHOO-CHKG and YAHOOAPAC and reverse DNS entries pointing to unknown.yahoo.com.
• The AS announces 512 IPv4 addresses across 2 prefixes and 2 IPv6 prefixes, with only 1 observed neighbour, indicating a small, self-contained corporate estate rather than a transit or access network.
• Traffic from this AS consists of internal corporate endpoints and services for Yahoo's Asia-Pacific operations, specifically within Singapore and Hong Kong.

Notable

• Registrants IRT-YAHOOISNET-HK align with the announcer, confirming the space is held by Yahoo's network team.
• The inventory is finely subdivided into two /24 blocks, consistent with site-by-site segmentation for a corporate network.
• One reverse DNS entry, nat-security-workstation1.cfw-a-gci.net.tpcity.fy94.net, suggests a specific security or firewall endpoint within the infrastructure.
